Photo: ©︎ Nacása and Partners Inc. FUTA Moriishi I designed the ground-floor Italian dining zone of THE HARBOUR, which hosts three programs: UNCLE PANINO, APE TOKYO and ABBRACCIO. The space accommodates different dining modes depending on time and location, ranging from casual panini and cappuccino to aperitivo and full trattoria-style dining, creating a layered gastronomic experience within a single architectural setting. The plan incorporates multiple types of seating and activity zones, including a casual standing area, a high counter overlooking live cooking by the chef and a canal-side wooden deck shared with the building’s common circulation. These varied spatial conditions allow guests to choose their preferred setting and move fluidly through the environment, enhancing the diversity and richness of the dining experience.
