土浦協同病院 ✕ Dick Bruna

土浦協同病院の小児科エリアにおいて、Dick Bruna の世界観を取り入れた空間デザインを担当した。 
子どもたちが安心し笑顔になれる医療環境の実現を目指し、ミッフィーをモチーフとしたグラフィックや色彩計画を、院内の動線や用途に応じて丁寧に配置している。 ライセンス作品を扱うにあたり、組み合わせが制限されるイラストの選定や配置ルールを遵守しつつ、 実際の色味にできる限り近づけるため、200色近いカラーバリエーションを印刷し検証を重ねた。 国際的に認知されるキャラクターの世界観を医療空間に適切に落とし込む過程は極めて希少であり、 そのプロジェクトに携われたことは大きな経験となりました。 I designed the pediatric area of Tsuchiura Kyodo Hospital, incorporating the world of Dick Bruna to create an environment where children can feel at ease and smile during their hospital visits. 
Miffy-themed graphics and color schemes were placed throughout the space in alignment with circulation patterns and functional requirements, ensuring that the design supported both emotional comfort and operational clarity. Because the project involved licensed artwork, strict illustration-combination rules had to be observed, and extensive color verification was required. Nearly two hundred printed color samples were produced to achieve tones that remained faithful to the original character designs. 
Working with such a globally recognized artwork and translating its essence into a healthcare setting was an exceptional experience that continues to be deeply memorable.
