Clair Bakery

オフィスビルの中に計画したベーカリー「Clair Bakery」の設計デザインを担当した。 Clair はフランス語で「明るい」「透明感」。日常の中に、ふっと肩の力が抜けるようなひと息の時間をつくりたいという想いから生まれた場所です。 空間は木漏れ日、薫り、素材の温度感を軸に構成しています。グレージュからホワイトへとやわらかくつながる仕上げの中に、クラフト感のある素材を重ね、焼き立てのパンの香りが自然と溶け込むような空気感を目指しました。 中央のパン什器はわずかに角度をつけて配置し、まっすぐではない、少し余白のある動線をつくっています。レジカウンターもそれに寄り添うように置き、空間全体にゆるやかな流れを生んでいます。 壁面のアーチ状の木ルーバーは、視線をやさしく受け止めるこの場所の象徴です。 光と香りと素材が重なり合い、ビルの中にいながらも、どこか外のような心地よさを感じられる空間になっています。 I designed Clair Bakery, a bakery located within an office building. “Clair” means “light” and “clarity” in French. The space was conceived as a place where people can pause and gently unwind within the flow of everyday life. The design is built around the qualities of filtered light, aroma, and the warmth of materials. Soft transitions from greige to white create a calm backdrop, layered with tactile, craft-like elements. The intention was to form an atmosphere where the scent of freshly baked bread naturally blends into the space. At the center, the main display counter is set at a slight angle, introducing a subtle shift in circulation and creating moments of pause rather than a rigid flow. The cashier counter follows this geometry, allowing a gentle continuity throughout the space. An arched wooden louver wall serves as a quiet focal point, softly catching the gaze and anchoring the space. Light, scent, and material overlap to create an environment that feels open and relaxed, offering a sense of being somewhere outside, even within the structure of an office building.
